ROCKY MOUNT - Ralph Watson Wallace, 92, died on July 14, 2012. He was born in Raleigh on August 27, 1919 to John William Wallace and Jannie Cherry. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Rowland Wallace and siblings, Lewis, William and Julia.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Blanche Quigley Wallace; son, Ralph Wallace, Jr., (Judy); two sisters, Clara Ellington and Ruth Perry; two grandchildren; two  step grandchildren;  stepson, Sam Quigley (Carolyn); numerous great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 11270 East NC 97, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.

A   memorial service was held Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home with the Reverend Kathy Jo Mitchell and Dr. Billy Seate officiating.
