Roy Gene Gilliam, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Born in Graham on June 5, 1930, he was the son of the late Edwin and Olivia Gilliam.

He is survived by his wife Pattie Pittman Gilliam; daughter, Kim Gilliam; and brothers, Ivey Gilliam of Chester VA and Ed Gilliam of Charlotte.

A graveside service was held Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Pineview Cemetery, Section 59 with Rev. Thomas Greene officiating.
