Rebecca Brooks Pridgen, 77, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013.  She was born in Nash County, November 19, 1935 to the late Paul Gordon and Rachel Leonard Brooks. 

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Lee Pridgen, Jr. of the home; sons,  Robert Lee Pridgen, III and wife Jackie Pridgen, Randall B. Pridgen and wife Elizabeth Nelms Pridgen; daughter, Robin R. Pridgen; 2 grandchildren; sister, Lois Abernathy and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 1460 Bethlehem Rd.  Rocky Mount, NC 27803-2203 or charity of your choice.
