Lucy Nelms Frazier, age 97, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017. Born in Nash County, NC on October 25, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Annie Nelms. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Frazier; brothers, Louis Nelms, Sidney Nelms, Clifton Nelms, Richard Nelms and sister Lennis Newsome.

Lucy leaves behind to cherish her memory, Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Lucy attended All Saints Episcopal Church in Roanoke Rapids. Lucy loved the outdoors and tending to her flowers and was able to do so up until the last few months. She loved her community and country and attended as many community events as possible. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

A Graveside Service was held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Forest Hills Cemetery, Nashville with Rev. Wade Nelms officiating.
