Edward McAllister "Mac" Jones, age 62, of Nashville died on November 4, 2017. He was born on March 20, 1955 in Richmond, VA, the son of Edward B.D. Jones and Lula Belle McAllister Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Nixon Jones of the home; his son, Edward McAllister Jones, II of Charlotte, NC; his step-daughter, Karri Byrum Hodges of Nashville; his sister Penney Eade of Farmville; two grandchildren; and nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

A service led by The Reverend Dan Davis will be held in the sanctuary of West Haven Presbyterian Church in Rocky Mount on Saturday, November 11 at 2 p.m. with family visitation in the fellowship hall immediately afterwards. A private interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Haven Presbyterian Church 1001 West Haven Blvd. Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
