Rex Allen Denton, age 66, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thaddeus and Mary Gray Brannon Denton.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Murray Denton; daughter, Melissa Anne Denton; son, Allen Murray Denton and wife, Jessica; and two granddaughters. Rex is also survived by two brothers John William Denton of Sharpsburg and Nick Denton and wife, Faye of Spring Hope, along with his sister, Peggy Ricks and husband, Wilbert of Rocky Mount.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the education fund for his two beautiful grandchildren at First Citizens Bank.
Services were held Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Ephesus Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Brantley officiating. Burial followed at Bailey Cemetery in Bailey.
