Larry Lee Stancil, 71, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018. He was born December 7, 1946 in Moore County to the late Eley and Rosa Woodard Stancil. In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Clemmons; two brothers, Johnny and Jimmy Stancil.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth Radford Stancil; two sons, Reginald Stancil, Philip Stancil and wife Jennifer; one daughter, Gloria Lamm and husband Anthony; five grandchildren; one God son.

Services were held Monday, January 8, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Piper, Jr. and Rev. Wayne Clemmons officiating. Burial was at Stancil Family Cemetery of Castalia.
