Judy Jean Brown, 81, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was born August 13, 1936 in Martin County to the late Earl and Demetria Meeks Patterson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband George T. Brown; brother Ronald Patterson and a grandson Christopher Jeffrey Scarbel.

She is survived by her son George Anthony Brown (Lisa); daughters Judy Carol Barbee (Jerry) and Patricia Ann Brown; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother Bob Patterson (Brenda); sisters Phyllis Roberson, Janice Cannon and Eleanor Raynor(David).

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Barbee and Drew Maddox officiating. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
