Etta "Jane" Tharrington Joyner Tate, 77, passed away March 2, 2018. She was born September 1, 1940 to the late Walter and Mary "Lizzy"Mosley Tharrington. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, William Edward Joyner Sr. and James Hubert Tate; sons William Edward Joyner Jr and KMillous Edward Joyner; sisters Priscilla Joyner and Lorraine Pulley.

Jane is survived by her son Brian Anthony Tate (Lisa); daughters Karla Joyner DeLoach (Furman), Bettie Tate Moquin and Barbara Christine Tate; 9 grandchildren; brother Richard Stuart Tharrington Sr.

A gathering for family and friends will be held 5 - 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jane and Barbara throughout the week.
