Cameron Matthew Bales, 23, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018. He was born November 15, 1994 in Edgecombe County. He was preceded in death by his father, Colonel Matthew Bales; paternal grandfather, Genon Bales; maternal grandparents, Frank and Lois Jones; uncle, Tony Bales; special cousins, Michael Ray and "NeNe".

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Jones Bales; the love of his life, Katlin Moss; paternal grandmother, Barbara Bales; three sons, Carter Matthew Bales, Ryan Lee "RyRy" Howell and son-to-be in December; three sisters, Misty, Tiffany and Casey; six nieces, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 1 - 2:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with service to follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be at Bales Family Cemetery.
