Mitchell "Showboat" Richardson, 51, of Nashville, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Wake services will be held Thursday, August 9, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 10 at 2 p.m. from the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Nashville. Burial will follow in the Battle Family Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Shacana Lee (Kevin) of Tarboro, Tamara Richardson of Calvert County, Md., Desirae Richardson of Middlesex; sons, Bryant Richardson of Nashville and Donta Richardson of Rocky Mount; father, Clyde Richardson of Nashville; sisters, Elaine Richardson of Spring Hope, Kimberly Holland (Steve) of Spring Hope and Denise Battle (Andre), of Castalia; brothers, Kelly Richardson (Minnie), of Nashville, Timmy Richardson (Jackie), of Spring Hope, Tommy Richardson (Marycole) of Calvert County, Md., and Donnie Richardson of Rocky Mount; and eleven grandchildren.
