Thelma Lee Wright Taylor, 100, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018.

She was born in South Georgia, the second daughter of Henry Woodfin Wright and Mamie Rogers Wright on March 18, 1918. In addtion to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Raymond Anderson Taylor and four sisters Rena, Elva, Doris and Ruth.

Thelma is survived by her five children, Raymond Lee Taylor and wife Dale of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Ralph Charles Taylor and fiance' Debbie Lewis of Columbia, SC, Marilyn Taylor Boone of Dortches, Bobby Wayne Taylor and wife Rebecca of Blythewood, SC, and James Eldon Taylor and wife Hilda of Willow Springs NC; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; sister, Hannah Collins of Aster, Florida; brother Hubert of San Jose, California; numerous nieces and nephew.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home, with visitation at 1 p.m., service at 2 p.m .and burial to follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Rev. Brandon Dees of Calvary Baptist Church will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
