Dorothy "Dot" Bazemore Mitchell , 84, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2018. She was born May 8th, 1934 in Bertie County. She was the daughter of Gertrude Jones Bazemore and Clyde Bazemore, both deceased. She was also predeceased by her husband, Rudolph Neal Mitchell Jr., and sister, Margaret Harmon Holloman.

She is survivied daughter Jennifer Pleasants and husband Johnny Pleasants of Siler City; her son Neal Mitchell and wife Renee Mitchell of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren.

Services will be held at Englewood Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 6th with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. and a service beginning at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
