ROCKY MOUNT - Betty Lou Walston Rich, age 81, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Born in Wayne County on August 15, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Percy Bruce and Susan Driver Walston. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Leverette Rich; sister, Peggy Walston Tobian; and brother, Percy Ray Walston.

She is survived by her son, Richard Rich and wife, Anna; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; brother, William Douglas Walston (Jean); cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
