Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church
The church will observe its annual Black History and Old Fashion Day on Sunday, February 28 at 11 a.m. Rev. Wilton Battle of Pleasure Hill Baptist Church will bring the message and his combined choirs will render the music.

Mount Zion First Baptist Church

Crossroads Baptist Church
The church will have revival meetings with the Aaron Coffey Evangelistic Team February 21 through 24. The meetings will be held on Sunday at 11 a.m. amd 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m. The revival will conclude with a Celtic concert on Wednesday. Edgecombe/Nash and Vicinity Minister's Wives and Minister's Widows
The association is traveling to Orlando, Florida February 25-27 for their 37th Southeast Region Conference. The group has a limited number of seats available to the public. Driven to Destiny Outreach Center
Women's Empowerment Supportive Service for Women of all ages is every first Monday of the month from 12 until 1 p.m. Topics include marriage, family, goals, education and life. Space is limited and seating is limited. East End Baptist Church
Pastor Mack E. Battle will facilitate a special brotherhood session for men in the community every first and third Saturday at 11 a.m.
The church will hold a community prayer meeting and testimonial service at 7 p.m. each Wednesday. The service will be followed by Pastor Mack E. Battle facilitating in a verse-by-verse study of the book of 1st Corinthians.
The church will host a red and white fellowship dinner on Friday February 12th at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The service is hosted by the Deaconess Board; contact Mrs. Wilma Sweeney, chairperson at 252-903-8070 for info.

Emanuel Chapel O.F.W.B. Church
The church will hold Bible Church School on February 14 at 9:45 a.m. with a worship service to follow at 11 a.m. with Elder Alpha Herring as the speaker and the EMC Gospel Choir.
The church will have its Rest Home Ministry on February 15 at 7 p.m. at South Village Nursing Home. Sister Dorothy Lancaster will bring the word and music will be provided by the church's outreach choir.
The church will celebrate the combined youth department anniversary on March 13.
The church will celebrate the Usher's Ministry Anniversary on March 20 at 4 p.m. All ushers are asked to attend and come in uniform. The guest preacher will be Bishoip J.N. Perry, pastor of Union View and Perry's Temple, along with Perry's Temple Choir, ushers and church family.
The church will hold Revival March 16, 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. nightly with Bishop J.N. Perry as the guest minister and different choirs each night.

United Fellowship Assembly

The North Roanoke Baptist Association Woman's Missionary Union will hold its 20th annual mother/daughter overnight camp for girls in grades 1-12 and their moms at Camp Mundo Vista (near Asheboro, NC) April 22 through 23. Greater Joy Baptist Church
Rep. Bobbie Richardson and Delta Sigma Theta Alumnae Chapter of Rocky Mount will host a voter registration drive and voter education on Thursday, February 18 from 5:30 until 7 p.m. Participants will be able to register to vote and will learn about voter ID laws in North Carolina, absentee balloting and the Connect NC Bond Referendum. Trinity Lutheran Church and Word Tabernacle Church
Both churches, along with Dr. Marilyn Malloy Jackson, announce "A Salute to Historic African Americans" Reception on Saturday, February 20 at The Impact Center, 821 Word Plaza, Rocky Mount. An art exhibit will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and a dinner theater will be held at 6 p.m., showing "A Courageous Walk," by Minnie Dickens. Admission is $12.
