Driven to Destiny Outreach Center
Women's Empowerment Supportive Service for Women of all ages is every first Monday of the month from 12 until 1 p.m. Topics include marriage, family, goals, education and life. Space is limited and seating is limited. Beulah Church of Christ
The church will hold a Fall Festival on October 10 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the church at 450 E. Beulah Road in Nashville. There will be bouncy houses, games, clowns, face painting, prizes, a cake walk and food.

Emanual Chapel OFWB Church
The church will hold a Prayer, Praise and Bible Study from 7:30 until 9 p.m. every Wednesday night following the first, third and fourth Sundays of the month. This month, there will be a study of 2 Corinthians 9:1 verse by verse.
Youth Day Service is October 4. The preacher will be Elder Maurice Battle and music by the EMC Youth Choir. Bible Church School starts at 9:45 a.m. followed by Youth Day Worship Service at 11 a.m.
Home Mission Service will be October 4 at 4 p.m. Preacher is Rev. Anthony Cox and the Feel Free Church Family. The service will be held at 635 Henry Street, Rocky Mount.
Rest Home Ministry will be October 12 at 7 p.m. at South Village Nursing Home.

United Fellowship Assembly
The church will host an Empowerment Conference 2015, "Great Salvation," October 12 through 16 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Day sessions at 10 a.m. Wednesday through Friday. Barnes Hill OFWB Church
The church will hold its Fall Revival September 30 through October 2 at 7 p.m. nightly with Eric Narron of Middlesex. Special singing each night with the Union Chapel Choir on Wednesday, CT and Teresa Davis on Thursday and Gene Dawson on Friday.

St. John Missionary Baptist Church
The church will celebrate the Pastor's 24th anniversary and hold an appreciation celebration on October 11 at 4 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Linda Taybron, pastor of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Holister.
The church will celebrate homecoming on October 18 at 11 a.m. The speaker will be Pastor Herbert C. Scott.

Taylor's Chapel Church
The church will hold a bazaar on Saturday, October 17 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Breakfast will be served from 8 until 10 a.m. with a variety of biscuits for sale. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until. Lunch will consist of BBQ sandwiches and hot dogs. Many craft items, wreaths, jewelry, quilts, various Christmas items, baked goods and some antiques will be for sale. Proceeds will go towards the building fund. East End Baptist Church
The church will have a church dedication and open house on Saturday, October 10 at 4 p.m. Dr. Cornelius Battle, pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Durham, will render the service. The East End Combined Choirs will render the music.
Pastor Mack E. Battle will preach at the church's 89th anniversary and dedication service of the new sanctuary on Sunday, October 11 at 11 a.m.
Dr. Cardus Brown, of New Light Baptist Church in Greensboro, will render the service on Sunday, October 11 at 4 p.m. with music by Pastor Addie Rawls and the New Generation Christian Church Choir in Smithfield.
Pastor Mack E. Battle will facilitate a special brotherhood session for men in the community ever first and third Saturday at 11 a.m.
The church will hold a community prayer meeting and testimonial service at 7 p.m. each Wednesday. The service will be followed by Pastor Mack E. Battle facilitating in a verse-by-verse study of the book of First Corinthians.
The fall session of the East End Community Sisterhood Outreach Ministry will be held in session at 928 E Highland Avenue from October 22 through 29 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Reverend Dorothy Ervin will be the facilitator. The topic will be "Sisters United in Prayer."
The East End Community Sisterhood will hold its Sixth Annual "Ladies in Pink" luncheon and worship service on Saturday, October 26 from 9 until 11 a.m. at Four Seasons Restaurant. This year's conference will focus on "Breast Cancer Awareness." On Sunday, October 27, a "Worship in Pink" service will be held at 11 a.m. Survivors of breast cancer will be honored. Christian Living Ministry
The church will hold a fish or chicken plate sale on October 2 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Plates are $8 and include fish or 1/2 chicken with cabbage or cole slaw, boiled potatoes, slice bread and cake. Social Union Baptist Church
The church will have revival Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. with guest speaker Rev. Kenneth Richardson of Shiloh Baptist Church of Acrola and St. John 3:16 Baptist Church of Rocky Mount. Visiting choirs will attend each night.
Homecoming is Sunday, October 11 beginning at 11:15 a.m. Social Union is located at 10011 Cooper Road in Nashville.

Christ Christian Center

Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church
The church will hold Fall Revival Tuesday October 6 at 7 p.m. with Revivalist Pastor Richard Gurganus, Senior Pastor of Church on the Rise, and on Tuesday, October 13 at 7 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Hines, Senior Pastor of Bunn Chapel Baptist Church.
The church will celebrate its 129th Homecoming Service on Sunday, October 18 at 5 p.m. The message will be delivered by Rev. Keith Miller, Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, Battleboro. Dinner starts at 3 p.m. The church is located at 317 Beauvue Road, Elm City.

Swift Creek Missionary Baptist Church
The church will celebrate their pastor, Rev. O.D. Sykes 10th anniversary on Saturday, October 10 at 5 with a musical service and on Sunday, October 11 at the 11 a.m. worship service. The special guest will be Rev. Nehemiah Smith, Jr. Pastor of Simmons Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids.
The Gospel Choir will celebrate their 32nd anniversary on Saturday, October 17 at 6 p.m.

Sandy Cross United Methodist Church
The Men and Women of the church will host a barbecue chicken plate and bake sale on Friday, October 16 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Coopers Ruritan Club House. Plates are $7 each and baked goods are as priced. Take in or eat out.

Castalia Baptist Church
