Faith Family Worship P.H. Church
The church will hold a BBQ Chicken Plate Sale on Friday, July 25 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Plates are $7 and includes green beans, potatoes, bread and cake. Arlington Baptist Church

Emanuel Chapel OFWB Church
The church will hold a noon day prayer every Friday at 635 Henry Street in Rocky Mount.
The church will host its Annual Women’s Day Celebration on Sunday, August 10. Bible Church School will be at 9:45 followed by the women’s day celebration at 11 a.m., with guest preacher Pastor Rosemary Thompson, along with the Zion Temple Original FWB Church family. Former and current members, families and friends of Elder Dennis Battle, Senior Pastor, are asked to attend. The church is located at 635 Henry Street in Rocky Mount.  
The church will host Youth Revival August 6 through 8 with various guests each night.  The church will host its annual Friends and Family Day Celebration on Sunday, July 27, with communion service starting Saturday, July 26 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, July 27. Bible Church School will start at 10 a.m. on Sunday followed by the annual family and friends day service at 11 a.m.

White Oak M.B. Church

Gillfield M.B. Church
Gillfield’s annual Revival will begin on Tuesday, July 22 through 25 at 7 p.m. Rev. Keith Miller from New Hope Baptist Church in Battleboro will be the speaker on Tuesday; Rev. Randolph Alston from Perry M.B. Church in Centerville will be the speaker on Wednesday; Rev. Nathanial Bunn, of Social Union in Nashville will be th guest on Friday; and Rev. Waylon Dunn from Elizabeth Baptist Church in Middlesex will be the guest on Thursday.  The church is located at Highway 561 and Gillfield Loop Road in Wood.

Northside Community Church
The church will host an appreciation and benefit concert for Jr. Winstead on Saturday, August 2 at 6 p.m. featuring the Oak Grove Boys and Stephanie. Also in concert is The Ambassadors, the Tim Taylor Family and NSCC Men’s Trio. All proceeds will go to Jr. Winstead. East End Baptist Church
East End Baptist Church, at 928 E. Highland Avenue, holds a community prayer meeting and testimonial service at 7 p.m. each Wednesday evening followed by Pastor Mack E. Battle facilitating in a verse-by-verse study of the book of 1st Corinthians.
The East End Brotherhood meets on the 1st & 3rd Saturday’s of each month at 10:00 at 928 E. Highland Avenue Rocky Mount. The focus of the group is to empower men to be responsible leaders in their church and community. Pastor Mack E. Battle serves as the facilitator.
The Community Sisterhood Outreach Ministry will host its annual “Mother’s and Daughter’s Summer Session,  each Tuesday, July 22nd-August  5th  at 6 p.m. Reverend Authurice Mitchell will facilitate the mother’s and Reverend  Paula Battle  will facilitate the daughters. Edgecombe/Nash and Vicinity Minsters’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Association
The Edgecombe/Nash & Vicinity Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Association is seeking Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows who would like to be a part of the association for the 2014-2015 year. Rock Hill Baptist Church
Annual revival will be held August 19 through 21 at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Herbert C. Scott, of St. John Baptist Church of Red Oak, as the guest speaker. A different choir will entertain each night.
Homecoming will be held on August 24 beginning with Sunday School at 10 a.m., a devotion at 11:15 and worship service at 11:30. The guest speaker is Rev. Jason Sloan of Hollister Chapel Baptist Church, along with his choir, usheres and congregation.
