ROCKY MOUNT - Jencie Mills, 95, died Monday, September 14, 2009.

Funeral services were on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Lena Richardson of Nashville, and Nezell Battle of Rocky Mount; a son, George Mills of Battleboro; sisters, Lucendia Richardson, Hargie Bet Lynch and Margaret Mullins, all of Warrenton, and Lugenia Lynch of Hollister; brothers, Willie Richardson of Warrenton, Lonnie Vas Richardson of Centerville, and Jack Clinon Richardson of Hollister; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 36 great-great grandchildren.

Wake services were at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville on Friday, September 18, from 7 - 8 p.m.
