Lawrence Daniel “Dan” Frazier, 75, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010 at his home. He was born in Nash County on June 17, 1934, to the late Jack and Carrie Lee Frazier. He was preceded by his parents and a sister, Annie Laura Smith; and a brother, Allen Frazier.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Bedgood Frazier.  A brother, Fred Frazier and his wife Jean of Red Oak; a sister, Sylvia Tant of Nash County; and a sister-in-law, Gladys Frazier of Rocky Mount. Four children: Danny Frazier of Nashville; Gary Frazier and his wife Susan of Swainsboro, Georgia; Denise Magnani and her husband Matthew of Cary; and Leigh Ellen Frazier of Rocky Mount. Five grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 pm Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1912 Sunset Ave, Rocky Mount.
