NASHVILLE - Rachel Barbee Stokes, 95, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2010.  She was the daughter of the late Luther Franklin and Nettie Pearl Pridgen Barbee.  Rachel was preceded in death by her husband Paul Lee Stokes Jr. and daughter Crystal Stokes Smith of St. Petersburg, Florida.

She is survived by her daughter Pamela Stokes Bass of Nashville; one brother, Luther Dexter Barbee of Nashville; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral Services were Monday, December 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Nashville Baptist Church. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
