ROCKY MOUNT - Bobby Henry Rackley, 77, passed away on December 5, 2010.  He was born on May 10, 1933, the son of the late Navy Rackley and Eva Pridgen Rackley.

Bobby is preceded in death by his first wife of 32 years, Memphis Spruill Rackley.  He is also preceded in death by sisters Julia Sellars, Pauline Woodcock, Dot Ayers, Lottie Stallings, Minnie Simmons, Hazel Reavis and brothers Marvin and Joe Rackley.

 He is survived by his wife, Bea Rackley of the home; beloved son and daughter-in-law Bobby Glenn and Jennifer Rackley of Rocky Mount; brother Navy (Sonny) Rackley and wife Mary of Rocky Mount; step-sons Larry Bridgers of Tarboro and Phil Bridgers of Whitakers; step-daughter Pam Williams of Rocky Mount.

Services were held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday December 6 at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville with visitation following the service.  Rev. Allen Whitley, Rev. Mark Pridgen and Rev. David Ayers officiated.  Graveside services were at 10:00 am on Tuesday December 7 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
