KENNETH “ROADIE” M. TAYLOR


CASTALIA – Kenneth “Roadie” McKinley Taylor, 85, of Castalia, died Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Franklin Regional Medical Center.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Jesse Faulkner Taylor and his sister, Elsie Cone.  Mr. Taylor loved to go to his son, Wayne’s business, Taylor’s Exxon in Nashville and spending Christmas at his daughter Connie’s home.  Graveside services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Taylor Family Cemetery in Castalia with his grandson Ken Hill officiating. 

He is survived by his three daughters, Connie T. Smith and husband, Mike of Louisburg, Judy T. Hill and Marilyn House; his son, Wayne Taylor and Vicky Hyde of Nashville; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; his sisters, Alicia Smith of Rocky Mount, Joan Griffin of Louisburg; step-sons, Pete Faulkner and wife, Rachel and Bryant Faulkner of Louisburg.
