Governor issues stay-at-home order

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper has announced a statewide stay-at-home order through April 29.
Executive Order 121 will go into effect on Monday, March 30 at 5 p.m., Cooper announced on Friday afternoon during a press conference.
The Order provides for essential businesses to continue to operate while prioritizing social distancing measures. The Order has the force of law and will be enforced in all 100 counties statewide.
