JAMES “JIMMY” WESLEY MITCHELL
ROCKY MOUNT - James “Jimmy” Wesley Mitchell, Jr. 64 passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011.  He was born in Montgomery County September 20, 1946 to the late James Wesley Mitchell, Sr. and Mary Blackley Mitchell. 

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Chamblee Mitchell of the home; daughter Joddy Mitchell Amerson and husband, Robbie of  Nashville; sons, Johnny Wesley Mitchell and wife, Fredra of Tarboro, Jammy Christian Mitchell and wife, Heather of Rocky Mount; step children, Dennis Lee Outlaw and wife, Lisa  and Christina Renee Ramback and husband Chad all of Rocky Mount; sister, Mary Ruth Mitchell Robbins of Rocky Mount; brother, Bobby Joe Mitchell and wife, Vicki of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and  grand nephews.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margaret Daughtridge Mitchell and an infant son.

A service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Buddy Moss officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery, section 51. The family received friends Monday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home.

Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Nash County Relay for Life, 923 Eastern Ave., Nashville, NC  27856.
