NORMA FAYE STRICKLAND PITT
Norma Faye Strickland Pitt passed away on February 19, 2012. She was born on March 2, 1925 in Nash County, the daughter of the late John Richard Strickland and Eva Steckert Strickland.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Cary “Bill” Pitt and by a sister, Estelle Thomas.

She is survived by her son, Richard Cary Pitt and wife Paulette of Rocky Mount; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sister, Frances Salsburg.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 2 p.m., at Englewood Presbyterian Church, 100 S. Englewood Drive, Rocky Mount.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Englewood Presbyterian Church.

Arrangements are entrusted to Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount.
