Funeral services for Walter Wright Jr., 51, who died on Sunday, June 24, 2012 were conducted Saturday, June 30, at 11 a.m. at Haywood Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Rev. Stanley Hicks officiating.
Surviving: wife, Caroline Wright of the home; daughter, Wanda Jean Williams of Raleigh; sons, Travis Wright and Walter Wright III, both of Rocky Mount; mother, Ionas A. Wright of Louisburg; sisters, Margaret Foster, Geraldine Mitchell, Ethel Kearney, all of Louisburg; brothers, Wilbert Wright and MacDonald Wright, both of Louisburg, Joe Wright of Charlotte, Bernard Wright and Phillip Wright, both of Bunn; six grandchildren.
