Lizzie Mae Griffin, 97, passed away, Sunday, May 13, 2007. She was born July 30, 1909 in Nash County. She was the daughter of the late John William and Mary Ann Jones Griffin.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Griffin and two sisters, Olivia Harris, Ruth Reames.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two nephews; Bobby Reames of Rocky Mount and Wayne Reames of Boykin, Virginia, special friends, Vickie, Danny and Cody Williams.
Visitation was Tuesday, May 15, 2007 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Luis F. Reinoso officiating at Red Oak Cemetery.
