ROCKY MOUNT - “Maggie” Hill Leary, age 78, passed away Friday, February, 15, 2013.She was the daughter of the late Joseph B. Hill and Ethel Lee Dixon Hill. In addition to her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Billy Gray Leary and son Dale Leary.
She is survived by daughters, Gay Heath of Wilson and Cindy Schellenberg and husband Robert Schellenberg of Rocky Mount; son, Wade Leary and wife Phyllis Leary of Wilson; 6 grandchildren; one great grandchild.
A funeral service was held Monday, February 18, 2013 at First Baptist Church with Rev. William Grisham and Rev. Larry Curtis officiating. Burial followed at Leary Family Cemetery in Edenton.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Global Mission Fund, First Baptist Church, 200 S. Church Street, Rocky Mount.
