Robert Lee Pridgen, Jr., 77, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013. He was born in Nash County on a farm in the Oak Level community, August 13, 1935 to the late Robert Lee Pridgen, Sr. and Ada Ward Pridgen.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Rebecca Brooks Pridgen and brothers Daniel L. Pridgen, Dick Everette and Ray Everette.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Lee Pridgen, III and wife Jackie B. Pridgen, Randall B. Pridgen and wife Elizabeth N. Pridgen; daughter, Robin R. Pridgen; 2 grandchildren; two sisters, Deanie P. Baker and Louise P. Ferro and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 1460 Bethlehem Rd. Rocky Mount, NC 27803-2203 or charity of your choice.
