Kathy Diane Summerlin Deans, 53, of Whitakers passed away on June 10, 2013. She was born July 3, 1959.
She is survived by her sons, John Rock Deans of Whitakers and Daren Dale Deans of Bailey; her sisters, Effie Summerlin Lamm of Wilson, Patricia Braswell and husband, Kenneth of Elm City and Janice Summerlin Killebrew and husband, Jonathan of Elm City and her brother, Harold Taylor and wife, Sandra of Wilson.
Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, John Alfred Deans; her son, Brandon Scott Deans; her parents, Omer Batchelor Summerlin and Bertis Summerlin and her brother, Tommy Batchelor.
