JAMES A. “JACK” LEWIS

LOUISBURG - Funeral services for James A. “Jack” Lewis, 90, who died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, will take place today (Wednesday, Jan. 8) at 12 noon at Allen Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Stanley Dunston officiating.
Surviving: wife, Bobbie J. Lewis of the home; daughter, Diane L. Rogers of Louisburg; sons, James Henry Lewis (Shirley) of Indianapolis, IN, Eugene Lewis (Bonita) of Kansas City MO, Bland Lewis (Jackie) of Hampton, VA.; stepsons, Willie Anstead and Tony Ansterad, both of Castalia, Henry Anstead (LaTonya) of Rocky Mount; sisters, Nevella Branch (Odell) and Etta Clemons, both of Louisburg; brothers, Nathaniel Lewis (Gloria) and Grant Lewis, both of Louisburg, George Lewis (Joyce) of Winston-Salem; daughter-in-law, Shirley Lewis of Franklinton; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
