Robert R. “Bobby” Chadwick, 81, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. He was born on November 4, 1932 in Stonewall, NC to the late Manley Lewis and Alice Carter Chadwick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vivian Worrell Chadwick; son, Bill Chadwick of Rocky Mount; sisters, Estelle Haste of Holly Ridge, Iris Bryant of Scotland Neck; brother, Jack Chadwick and wife, Priscilla of Bradenton, FL; one grandson along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service  will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Davis officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 1460 Bethlehem Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
