Edward Ray (Eddie Buck) Davis, age 83, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Born in Rocky Mount, he was the son of the late Van Jefferson Davis and Iva Bell Pridgen Davis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rena Bell Davis and several siblings.
He is survived by two sons, Dawsie Davis and wife Lori of Rocky Mount and Stanley Davis and wife Dale of Emporia VA; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
A funeral service was held January 10, 2014 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Hill and Pastor Tim Parker officiating. Burial followed in the Davis Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shenandoah Baptist Church Building Fund, 3894 Shenandoah Drive, Rocky Mount NC 27803.
