| Flora “Nell” Liverman, 85, passed away, Thursday, January 16, 2014. She was born February 17, 1928 in Pitt County to the late Grover and Kennie Forlines McGlohon. Nell worked from 1957 to 2010 in her husband’s practice and was a member of Nashville Baptist Church since 1957. She grew up in Winterville, NC. Nell was preceded in death by three brothers; Mark, Fred and Hoke McGlohan, two sisters; Glynn Keeter and Margaret Moseley.She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Dr. Joseph T. Liverman, one son, Dr. Joseph T. Liverman Jr. and wife Anita, one daughter, Kennie J. Carr and husband James, four; sisters, Arlene Knox, Mabel Tucker, Leah McGlohon and Rebecca Boyle, three grandchildren; Dylan Liverman, James “Jay” Carr and Meredith Carr, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Nashville Baptist Church with Rev. Alfred Ayscue officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nashville Baptist Church. |
