ELLIS BUNN

NASHVILLE - Ellis Bunn, 87, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He was born September 2, 1926 in Nash County to the late Roney and Lola Finch Bunn. Ellis was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lola Mae Vaughn; three sisters, Mae Taylor, Lucille Wilder, and Ruby Hopkins; and one brother, Jake Bunn.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years,  Jane Kelly Bunn; son, William “Jr” Bunn; daughter, Teresa Jo Edwards and husband Ronnie; step-daughters, Minnie Boyd and husband Dexter, Sandra Felts and husband Jimmy, and Ruby Averett and husband Len; one brother, Cordell Bunn and wife Lorraine; three sisters, Elsie Draper, Shelby Winstead and husband Glen, and Louise Lewis; one step-sister, Pauline Burnette; and two step-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held   Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Committal followed at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society @ 8300 Health Park # 10 Raleigh NC 27615.
