ROCKY MOUNT – Kenneth Earl Proctor, age 86, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014.  He was born on October 19, 1927 to James Arthur Proctor and Viola Rimmer Proctor. He is preceeded indeath by his wife of 41 years, Jean Edwards Proctor.
He is survived by his children James Kenneth Proctor of Nashville, Bruce Edward Proctor of Santa Ana, California, Verna Gail Proctor of Dortches, and Penny Proctor Gloeckner of Hamilton, Ohio; four siblings, James Carlton Proctor, Jean Proctor Harris, Robert Glenn Proctor, and George Lindsey Proctor; sisters/brothers-in-law, Sylvia Edwards Jenkins, and her husband Bobby, and Gloria Yvonne Edwards.
Graveside services were conducted by the Right Reverend Doctor Edward Conner, at Rocky Mount Memorial Park  Thursday, May 22, 2014 in Dortches.
Memorial flowers may be sent, or donations made in lieu of to The Rocky Mount Chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
