Gladys Speight Durham, 83 passed away on August 27, 2014. She was born in Wilson County on September 2, 1930 to Emma and Guy Speight. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 63 years Rev. Robert J. Durham and her great grandson Ayden Pryce Williams.
She is survived by daughters Linda Pulliam and husband Charles of Apex, Sandra Sorie and husband Ricky of Enfield, and Cheryl Pulliam and husband Johnny of Graham; six grandchildren; eleven  great grandchildren; brother Wayne Speight and his wife Carolyn.
A funeral service  was Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Sorie and Rev. Johnny Hudson officiating.  Burial  followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
