NASHVILLE - Samuel A. Bobbitt, 74, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Williams Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Parker officiating. Burial followed in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include wife, Lillie Bobbitt, of the home; a daughter, Glenda Marie Williams, of Rocky Mount; a son, Samuel Bobbitt, Jr, of Wilmington; two sisters, Minister Catherine Bobbitt, of Rocky Mount and Annie Mae Thorne, of Rocky Mount; a brother, Herbert Bobbitt, Sr., of Nashville; one grandchild and 12 great grandchildren.
