Randolph Boyd Denson, age 93, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014. He was born in Nash County on November 30, 1920 to the late Elder Robert B. and Wilma W. Denson. He was predeceased by daughters, Nancy Faye Denson and Patricia Denson Daniel and grandson, Evan Randolph Daniel.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Theo Jarman Denson; his daughters, Kim D. Jones and her husband, Bill; Toni Denson; son-in-law, Douglas G. Daniel, Jr.; three grandchildren; sister, Joyce D. Shelley of Jacksonville, Florida and one brother, James K. Denson of Virginia Beach, VA.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Joe Price officiating.  Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of one’s choice.
