Carolyn Marie Proctor Stanfield, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. She was born in Nash County on January 18, 1948 to James Proctor and Ethel Lee Williams Proctor. She is preceded in death by her father, James Proctor.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Stanfield of Rocky Mount; her mother, Ethel Lee Williams Proctor of Rocky Mount; her son, Robert Neal Stanfield (Kim Partridge) of Rocky Mount; two grandchildren; sisters, Lois Bailey and her husband George of Rocky Mount, Joyce Pridgen and her husband, Herbert of Wilson, and Peggy House of Rocky Mount.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 13, 2015 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Burial followed the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
