Milburn Gerald "MG" Felton, 83, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015. MG was born in Macclesfield on July 9, 1931. He was the son of late Alfonso Forbes Felton and Dora Ellis Felton and is also predeceased by his brother, Turner Ellis Felton.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mildred Crowder Felton; his brother, Jonathan K. Felton; three sons, Milburn Gerald Felton, II and his wife Susan, Michael Gregory Felton and his wife Cindy, and Mark Gilbert Felton and his wife Debbie Sue; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, May 7, 2015 at First Baptist Church, 200 South Church Street, Rocky Mount, with Rev. Matthew Felton officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 am until time of services.
