Vernon Bradford ''Brad'' Baker, age 73, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Elmo Baker.

He is survived by his mother, Guildaroy Henry Baker; his brother, Van Baker and his wife, Susan of Rocky Mount; his son, Kodie Baker and his wife, Jenny of Chehalis, WA; two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Heritage Oaks Funeral and Cremation Services, Rocky Mount.

Interment followed in the Baker Family Cemetery in Whitakers, officiated by Rev. Sam Codington.
