Michael Julian Boone, Jr., 36, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015. He was born November 25, 1979 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles L. Bell; his uncle, Jerry A. Bell and paternal grandparents, Julian G. and Lula D. Boone.

He is survived by his parents, Michael "Budgie" Boone Sr. and Kaye Bell Boone; and his sister, Lori Boone of Rocky Mount; maternal grandmother, Ethel M. Bell of Rocky Mount; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Hoyle "Kip" Vinson officiating. Visitation will follow after the service.
