Joyce Bone Joyner, 80, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016. She was born April 13, 1935 in Nash County to the late George Luther and Mary Eva Winstead Bone. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lee Joyner; son, Tim Joyner; sister, Marjorie Joyner and brother, Alvin Bone.

She is survived by her son Richard Joyner (Lisa); daughters, Teresa Sallee (Steve), Susan Bass (Darcey); 7 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening April 5, 2016 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Carol Dean and Rev. Jimmy Reavis officiating. A private burial will follow. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Sandy Cross United Methodist Church.
