ROCKY MOUNT – Christine Cooper Barnes, 67, died Feb. 17, 2008. Funeral services were held Feb. 23 at William Toney’s Funeral Home chapel in Spring Hope. Interment was in the Drewery family cemetery, Spring Hope.
Survivors include daughters, Wanda Cooper of Rocky Mount and Laura Cooper of Washington, D.C.; son, Dexter Cooper of Raleigh; sisters, Ernestine Brinkley and Catherine Bembry, both of Spring Hope, and Mary Jefferson of Pennsylvania; brother, James Davis of Raleigh; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
