ELMOS M. “BUD” EATON SR.
FRANKLINTON – Elmos M. “Bud” Eaton Sr., 84, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008. Funeral services were held Feb. 24 at the Old Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Murrill Sr. officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred K. Eaton of the home; seven daughters, Doris Alston and Mildred Dunston, both of Youngsville, Katie Waller of Oxford, Peggy Merritt of Douglasville, Ga., Barbara Scott of Franklinton, Paula Johnson of Wake Forest and Lisa Garris of Raleigh; four sons, Elmos M. Eaton Jr., Jerry D. Eaton, Ronald M. Eaton and Michael A. Eaton, all of Franklinton; one sister, Elsie E. Stewart of Hampton, Va.; three brothers, Jimmy Eaton of Wake Forest, Earkiel Eaton of Hampton, Va., and Bobby Eaton of Buffalo, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
