James Wilson Stephens

James Wilson Stephens, 71, passed away December 26th, 2016. He was born in Nash County to the late Wilson Watts Stephens and Gladys Hathaway Frazier. JW is also preceded in death by both of his parents as well as his nephews, Sean Frazier and James Isaac Joyner.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Ginny Lee Stephens, daughter Brandy Lee Stephens; brother John Allen Frazier, Jr.; sister Julia Frazier Spence; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m Thursday December 29, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Alford Tyson officiating. Visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Cancer society for AML research, The American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
