Shirley Rose (Barnes) Davis, 79, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017. She was born September 10, 1937 to the late Willie and Shirley Bradley Rose. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Barnes; two brothers, Pete and Billy Rose.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Joe Davis; two sons, Don Barnes (Lisa) and Kenneth Davis; two daughters, Cheryl Kiestler and Vicki Parker (Kenneth); four sisters, Glenda Heflin, Charlotte Pasquerette (Bill), Hope Patterson and Cathy Shortt (Terry); nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and, many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Saturday, February 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hindrich officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery of Nashville.
