Donald Ray Taylor, 55, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017. He was born June 1, 1961 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Betty Morgan Taylor; three sisters, Ruby Barham, Mary Elizabeth Collins and Marie Boykin.
He is survived by four sons, Donald Ray Taylor, Jr. (Linda), Danny Ray Taylor (Cassandra), Nicholas Proctor and David Taylor; two daughters, Teresa Taylor (Lonnie Britton) and Susan Whitman (Louis); and mother of his children, Cathy Carter; brothers, Roy Taylor (Paula), David Taylor (Linda), Earl Taylor and Jimmy Wood (Cindy); ten grandchildren, lots of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
