Mary Lee Hedgepeth Bass, age 73, of Nashville, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017. She was born on October 2, 1943, to the late Arthur Venoy Hedgepeth and Loraine Fisher Hedgepeth. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Margaret Ann Hedgepeth.

She is survived by her husband, James Sydney Bass; children, Karen B Seawell, Art Bass, John Bass and wife, Lisa; five grandchildren, Ryan, Mary Katheri.

Family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Beulah Church of Christ, 450 E. Beulah Road, Nashville with the Rev. Kenneth Windham officiating. Burial will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
