Herman Keith Moore, Jr., 61 of Spring Hope, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017.

Services were held Thursday, March 9th at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson.

Herman was born in Nash County to the late Herman C. Moore, Sr. and Georgia Harris Moore on September 26, 1955.

He is survived by his love, Sheila Knight; his children, Herman Cardell Moore of the home, Tashonda Watson of Wilson, Demetrius Vick of Spring Hope, Lamont Thigpen and wife, Krishonda of Charlotte, Christopher Knight and wife, Lydia of Rocky Mount, Roshedia Knight of Hampton, Virginia, and Sigmone Knight of Garner; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sisters, Pastor Janice Hodge High and husband, Peaches, Jr. of Raleigh, Minister Olympia Scarborough of Spring Hope, Maria Gorham and husband, Tyrone of Bunn, and Latasha Janell Moore of Middlesex; brother, Calvin Raye Moore of Spring Hope; aunts, cousins and a host of nieces, nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Georgia Moore, and his brother, Donald M. Hodge.
