Sally May Williams Lindsey, age 73, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Born in Nash County, on January 26, 1944, she was the daughter of the late George M. Williams and Maydee Carol English Williams.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Billy Ray Lindsey; and son, George Ray Lindsey and wife, Candace Warren-Lindsey, of Cold Springs, NY; one granddaughter; sister, Lucy Ann Williams of Rocky Mount; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Joe Price officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 11:30 AM to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
